Pasadena Café Tenant Improvement

Located in the heart of Pasadena, SP Coffee represents a strategic balance between operational efficiency and high-end hospitality design. This Tenant Improvement (TI) transformed a shell space into a vibrant community hub.

The design leverages the double-height volume with a custom wood-slat ceiling system, which serves a dual purpose: it creates visual warmth to contrast the concrete shell, and provides essential acoustic dampening for a busy cafe environment.

To maximize revenue per square foot, we designed a zoned seating plan featuring custom banquet seating along the perimeter (maximizing capacity) and flexible loose furniture for groups. The floor-to-ceiling glazing integration ensures the brand is highly visible from the street, turning the interior architecture into a billboard for the business.
